Her momma didn't want to take her to the mall for the typical Easter bunny pic b/c she knew she would be tearful from fear...I hardly can blame her...so, they found a real bunny & lamb...

...we are lucky to get such a cute smile b/c our bunny was not wanting to be close to the lamb...

Easter brings different meanings to different people. To many, Easter is all about an Easter basket filled with chocolate bunnies and marshmallow peeps.. To others, it's about recognizing the resurrection of Christ after the crucifixion...

I sadly have to admit that I did not attend church this Easter, but, I did enjoy the live streaming Easter service from Compass Church in Colleyville, Texas...

...the girl's OU sis, Alison Gist Williams, singing the ol' hymn, "Victory in Jesus"...
...hearing Ali sing this song brought back memories of my g'dad singing this old, traditional hymn, along with others, in the Nazarene Church...

...Ali has a beautiful voice...she sang in the girl's weddings and their dad's graveside service...

..She has a cute, little daughter following in her footsteps...

...Easter at my sister's house w/ our mom and her dog, Mo...

...We are without our bunny today...but, nevertheless, the Easter bunny left her basket full...

...Oh my...you know she's growing up when she starts playing w/ Barbie dolls...

I will have to get mine out next time she visits....yes, it's an original in perfect condition; but, oh well.....she's my bunny princess...

...she has a chocolate mouth from one of her chocolate marshmallow bunnies... and put on her glasses to be like her Nonni....love her to pieces...

...I am thinking she is holding her mouth open to keep her glasses on her nose..

...a make-up bag becomes very inviting to a young, little princess...

22months...

...Doctor visit with an ENT today...scheduled for tubes and taking her adenoids out later this month....

...At the last moment, they called and decided to make a Nonni & Poppi overnight visit just in time to have dinner at Pizza Hut

..I believe she is telling us it's too noisy...

...Poppi taking her out to see the kitty cats...

...Nonni surprised her with YaYa and her momma's fisher price dollhouse...didn't take her long to start organizing....

...choosing her baby einstein music dvd before bed time...

...at Nonni's we sometimes get sleepy relaxing on the sofa instead of rocking...

My birthday...

...I can say we had a mixed bag of weather today....

...cool, damp, misty morning...

...cloudy, slow steady rain in the afternoon...

...then, driving into Tulsa, the sun came out with temp warming a degree or so...

...our drive ended with a sudden downpour...

...Our first dinner plans with the kids changed from outdoor dining at Waterfront b/c of the rain to indoor at Red Rock Canyon...

Just as we were walking out the door, Linz called to say the bunny woke up from her nap with 101.9 temp, so we went to check on them...decided we would go w/ Linz to pediatric urgent care...and, yes, she had an ear infection...Afterwards, Ali & Ben

went with Paul and I to eat...instead of having a long wait at Red Rock, we decided to go to Freddie's Steakhouse in Sapulpa...As we were close to being finished with our delicious dinner, we received an urgent call from Linz saying she tho't the bunny was having seizures....my sister was closer so we sent her over to check on them....she actually was having very hard chills but we decided we needed another trip to urgent care to make sure she didn't have the flu...and she didn't....just a temp and ear infection....which we were thankful that it wasn't more serious...

...WOW, what a night....
