October 2024...



...October marks the transition into full autumn...a month celebrated for its
vibrant colors and cooler weather (hopefully soon).
As leaves turn, nature invites us to appreciate its beauty and reflect on the
changes around us and savor the flavors of fall...

...It's extra special  to begin the month having lunch
w/ a classmate that came in from Colorado Springs for our All School Reunion...

...Carol's mother, Lavon, and my mother cooked breakfast at my parent's home the morning 
after our Jr-Senior Prom or it may have been Senior graduation...
...(I am missing the pic of our mom's w/ their hair stacked with their hair piecesπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚..
if I ever come across it, I will place it here.)...

...Even though we live in the same town, it's not often that we see each other..
Today, Brother and I see each other at the Community Bank 100 year Anniversary 
outdoor event...

...left the anniversary and met up w/ my cousin's daughter & grand...
...no matter what family I am standing by, it seems I am always the shortest...
...my grands are even catching up w/ me...

...Then, we joined many others from Bristow on the lawn of Guthrie Green to
support Brice Calvin w/  the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio...

...It was a great time w/ awesome funky, soul/jazz beat music...
...and the weather was perfect...

...watching Paul's youngest g'daughter play coach pitch softball...

...supported a friend's son in Jenks for a game of "Buddy Baseball"...
...it was entertaining watching Kannon and his other friends...

...then, ended the afternoon at Braum's w/ the Junies...

...Our bunny's school's Color Run was a great way to kick off fall break...

...All the kiddos and spectators enjoyed watching the fun...I know I did...

...the twins took their donuts to their dad's for sharing w/ him for his 47th b-day...

...the bunny and I went to Hobby Lobby to get picture frames and she
picked out a 500 piece puzzle....we didn't get too far before YaYa came to pick her up...

...Junie M getting her allergy shot and the bunny was surprised they did it 
through a window...
...Then, back at YaYa's playing w/ the Junies...

...their momma said it was overall a great day just being home...
