....Thankfully, she has always been weather aware. She was checking in often with updates...
...This tornado wiped out Moore and got on a path following I-44...
...We lived in Tulsa and Linz and I were panicked to find a hidey hole besides our closet...
...We finally made it to my sister's in Sapulpa where we all went to a neighbor's with
a basement...
...Stroud Tanger Mall was wiped out and it hit West Tulsa damaging the Carbondale area...
...In 2016, a tornado came down our road...
Paul was home and I was in Tulsa...
...the fence is ours...
..Afterwards, he told me not to come home...I stayed in Tulsa for 2 days...
...My sister came home w/ me and even then you couldn't see our house from the
road b/c of all the tree damage, but we could drive up the driveway. The tallest tree wiped out
the front of our home...
...root ball of the tree that fell across the front of our home...
...our 5 acre woods is now almost bare...
...Tornadoes are to be respected. Take shelter when in the path of one...
...I am grateful that my girls have their own underground shelters in their garages
