Ali and I, both, ended up going to the Express Wellness in Sapulpa at different times to be diagnosed with Flu A.
...I am sure the tamiflu is helping but, more than anything, the cough syrup has helped w/ my cough and made me sleep. Ali also got a steroid for her lungs.
Linz and Brian took the twins to see Trolls Alive, which Ali and Linz had plans to do together.
...Just getting up to get meds is hard to do...
Lil A: Momma, your hands are hot!
Ali: Well, momma is still sick.
Lil A: Then, you can't go to school or meetings. People will say, "where did that momma go?'

...This is a virus that began in China. It now has totally put Italy on a shutdown...
...Our first Coronavirus in Tulsa County, Tulsa, was reported last Friday. Someone who returned from Italy on Feb. 29th.
...March 11th, it was officially no longer considered an outbreak but a pandemic...
...Universities are now closing down... the OKC Thunder/Jazz game in OKC on Wednesday was abruptly cancelled a few minutes before tipoff b/c a Jazz player was ill and tested positive for the virus....In NYC, all the Broadway shows are now in the dark. DisneyWorld, Disneyland and the Disney Cruises are no longer open. (So, thankful, it was last spring break that Linz and Brian took our bunny to DisneyWorld so she wouldn't have the disappointment that so many have now.)

...Dental hygienists work in one of the riskiest environments when it comes to health and since it's not a do or die situation, I don't see the necessity to stay open...
...I am thankful she is not having to actually clean teeth but....

Our family is growing....
I have had two nieces to have baby boys this month...6 days apart...in the midst of the
coronavirus pandemic...
...so only their husbands were allowed to be with them at the hospital...

...Now, we have one more due in April...another boy, Asher Doyle...

...Spring break was extended until April 6th b/c of the coronavirus...
...Our state superintendent announced today that all schools would be closed for the rest of the school year to limit the students to exposure to the coronavirus...
...They will continue school through distance learning...
...This will be sad for all the students not being able to say "bye" to their teacher and friends...
..I know our bunny princess will be sad not seeing her teacher and friends...She loves everything about school...
...And, the seniors missing their prom, graduation, athletes missing their last sporting games...
...just emotionally sad for all...
...BUT, one day years from now, these kids will amuse their kids with stories about this virus...
...Father God, please be with these students as they find themselves dealing with emotions of loss...

These littles understand some of the pandemic. They understand they can't play w/ friends b/c of the coronavirus germs that can spread sickness. They don't like being sick. Overall, it's been crazy for their mom but they are doing ok. Same for the bunny and her mom. She does go between two homes which causes some concern for her mom and myself...We pray and pray!

...As we end the month, the news said, "over 200,000 can end up dying in the United States before the end, along w/ millions being infected. So far, 3,100 deaths have been recorded. On our evening news, it was reported that Oklahoma has 566 diagnosis with 23 deaths. NYC is setting up medical tents in Central Park staffed w/ 60-70 doctors being the first time since the Civil War, making it a stark reminder to what is ahead...Brace yourself...Pray, Pray, Pray!...
...Trusting, believing and looking forward to better days...
Dear Father, as we end this month, continue to place a shield of protection from the Coronavirus around my family and friends. Thank you, Father!
