December 20th....

 





Oh, dear...Oh, dear...

I  started my shopping today, the 20th!!!....Never in my life have I been this late beginning our Christmas shopping...Normally, I have my gift shopping done or maybe just finishing up...But, things have been a little crazy this year.

Thankful that I have a sweet husband that goes along to help...patiently drives through the lines of traffic, carries the bags of gifts..

...(if only we were young again)..
More than anything, he is there to remind me everything will be fine....He makes it fine....For a break in shopping, he suggest we call the girls and Ben to meet us for lunch at Cosmos.  Then, we end the day having dinner with Linz and the bunny....the bunny makes us laugh...Oh, how I love this little that I call bunny.

Winter Solstice...

Today is winter solstice...the shortest day of the year, which means, from now on, everyday will get a little longer or, hopefully, brighter...

Looking forward to sunshine....so far this month, we have had only three days of sunshine...unusual for Oklahoma.

...We had plans for the bunny tonight but she wasn't feeling too perky today, so I am staying the night with them....Praying she is feeling better tomorrow since she was sick on her 1st Christmas...

...Rejoice in the spirit of Christmas which is Peace...the miracle of Christmas which is Hope, and the heart of Christmas which is Love....

...Father, thank you for this night and for all it represents.  Thank you for the hope and peace you bring and the love and joy you give.  Thank you for the many reasons we have been given a merry Christmas.  Thank you, Father, for our faith-filled friends who keep us encouraged.  May you light our path as the holy star lit the way for the wise men....Amen!...

...not all our family is with us this Christmas....some traveled to the family cabin in NM and are making the rest of us homesick for our little cabin in the tall pines of Ruidoso...
