All I can say......It was a perfectly beautiful day!!!!

Alison chose the palette of plum, moss green and gray to carry out a vineyard theme for the reception. The color of the bridesmaid dresses and bouquets looked incredible with the stained glass setting of the sanctuary...The guys wore black tux with gray vest.....
The stained glass and tudor style arches was one of the reasons they fell in love with Sharp Chapel. Because of the color in the stained glass and their bouquests, we only used baskets of ferns instead of flowers for the wedding ceremony.
The Tulsa Country Club's richness of the dark wood in the entry and dining area provided the vineyard atmosphere that she envisioned for their reception.
They, also, loved the view of the downtown Tulsa skyline from the dining area windows. We incorporated lots of special touches using wine bottles draped with grape vine, and filling them with plum hydrangaes and corkscrew willow, along with some silver accents and burlap...
...the wine bottles set on 12 inch square mirrors surrounded by 4 mercury votives......We used lanterns and more mercury candle sticks along the bar areas, along with two large floral arrangements filled with wine corks.
We had the bride's cake draped with grape vine and lots of grapes setting on a silver legged tray. The groom's cake was also draped with grapes and grape vine setting on a wine barrel top.
The way you incorporate color into your wedding will have a major impact on the look and feel of the church and reception. I was very pleased.....!
Thanks to my good friend, Janet, for help putting together the wine bottle centerpieces...Also, Ali's friend, Kara, and my sister for helping Janet on the day of the wedding setting up the reception tables.
We also loved the beautiful bouquets and the two large floral centerpieces designed by Shelley at Added Touch, Bristow....
