So, when I see any old barn, it brings back fond memories!
When you pass an old barn, it isn't just a piece of weathered boards......it's a piece of history and each can probably tell it's own story.
This barn is on the COE RANCH in Hondo Valley, New Mexico......it's always been a travel landmark driving into Ruidoso......we always knew we were 30 minutes away.
Another beautiful barn on the tail end of the drive to Crested Butte, Colorado.

The Barn @ 101st & Louisville, Tulsa
This is the barn where the girls and I and their dad first saw Garth Brooks perform.....at the time, we had no idea the country star he would become.....We were there to enjoy a day in the country feeling the first hints of autumn and absorbing the smell of apple cider and the colors of fall and taking in all the entertainment and crafts of the Brush Creek Bazaar....a festival bazaar that benefits the Brush Creek Boys Ranch. "The Barn" was built in 1926 and was a meeting place for club members before the Southern Hills CC was built.
When remodeling your home or building a new one, many people like to include wood from barns.....Years of standing in the weather, bearing the blustery winter storms and the summer's scorching sun.....ONLY that can produce beautiful barn wood.
As seasons pass....
One can always find beauty in an old leaning barn!
