August 2025....

...As August unfolds, we find ourselves on the cusp of transitions...

both in nature and within our daily lives...

...The long sun-drenched days invite us to savor the last taste of summer...

...This month also marks a time of prep as students gear up for a new academic

year.  With its blend of relaxation and anticipation, August serves as a perfect

reminder to embrace the present moment while looking forward to new beginnings...

...I drove into Jenks and picked up the 3 littles to spend some time

together in Bristow...We had lunch at Pizza Hut before coming home but

I forgot to take a pic...(I am sure they didn't miss it...😀)...

...Before leaving Bristow to go back home, they wanted to enjoy a scoop 

 of Subway ice cream...

...the Junies, along w/ their momma, delivered Reed's b-day gift...$$

...Another few Nonni days, so I brought them home for 2 nights...

...the Junies jumped in the pool as quickly as they could change clothes...

...1st time the Junies have been in a diner w/ bar stools that twirled...

...It's the well known Anchor on Route 66...now known as the Anchor 66...

...Excited to sleep in our loft apartment on an air mattress...

...Junie M came back from our vaca with a hair bonnet for sleeping...😂

...On their I-pads while Nonni is fixing their breakfast...

...On this day, the Junies wanted to swim @ the Bristow Pirate Plunge...

...Back in Tulsa to pick up their figurines they painted last week...🎨

...After Junie M's allergy shots, we had brunch @ Chick fil-A...

...One at a Time...

...Their momma took one by themselves while I stayed with the other one to 

do some shopping and to have a special treat @ Boss Tea...

...They enjoyed their one on one time w/ their momma...

...Our bunny starts school this Thursday and along with her busy dance

schedule, she doesn't often get to come to Bristow, so she and her momma came

 for the afternoon and a sleepover...😍

...They met us for lunch @  Anchor 66...She brought her JellyCat 

that she had been missing for a lonng time and wanted me to see that she

had found it...She had that jellycat when we didn't even know they were popular...

...Bristow Pirate Plunge...She braved the slides and loved them!

 ...until someone threw up in the pool...that was

enough for her....😕

...Always good to see Annie Beth!...💜

...enjoyed some time in our pool w/ Poppi...

...Went to Joseph's in Drumright for dinner and came home to make a new

cookie recipe...She didn't want to use the mixer, so she did it all the old

fashion way...

...The cookies turned out yummy!😋  They were called "Monster Cookies"...

...The next morning they left early b/c Char Char was home needing breakfast.  Plus, she 

and some dance friends were meeting up at "Slick City"...the new fun place with

different slides in Tulsa...

...between work, kids in dance and tennis, it's hard to find time for friends...

...these two finally found some time to catch up...💕

...It's a Nonni day and the Junies had an invitation to a party at ME....

...The Junies were excited with it being their 1st time @ ME...

...Since it was a day all 3 littles were together, the bunny played

a few games...

...She is actually pretty solid hitting the net...

...Back @ Nonni and Poppi's since it saves me from leaving early in the am...

...Junie M has a great attachment sleeping in her bonnet...

...Our bunny's Meet the Teacher night...

...w/ her 2 main teachers...Mr. S and Mrs. B...

...The bunny starting her fall dance schedule...

...Since Sapulpa schools have a lot of construction happening around their

main campus, Ali decided to use the theme "Under Construction" for her back to

school in service w/ her teachers...

...The Junies in their neighborhood pool...we have it to ourselves since 

Jenks started school today...their neighborhood is in the Jenks District...

...After school, we hurried home to change for dance and then met up 

w/ her mom at "Sip and Swirl"...a treat for her 1st day back at school...

...The Junies were with me when I picked the bunny up after her 2nd day...

...decided to treat ourselves to a Tropical Smoothie...

...Sunday Funday w/ their momma...

...the bunny w/ her friend, Brooklyn, meeting up as they were dropped off

to walk together into school...

... coincidentally twinning @ dance...

...enjoying the pool lights the 3 littles gave Poppi for Father's Day...

...this will be their 1st year not to be in the same class, although

they will have the same teachers...(different homerooms)...

...kept them for 1/2 day, and we ate lunch @ Ken's Pizza then dropped them off 

at school w/ their momma...

...Spent the past month with the Junies 5 days a week while their momma worked, 

along w/ our bunny 2/3 days a week while her momma worked...

..We spent time going here, there and everywhere...!! ! WHEW!!!!

...Studies suggest that grandparents who babysit their grands may experience lower

mortality rates and potentially live longer...

...I sure hope this is true...How 'bout you, Sissy?...

she was trying to keep it as long as possible...Well, it came out when she 

bit down on a pineapple bite..🍍.🦷

...Since it was her last baby tooth, the tooth fairy was very good to her...

She's like her momma and has saved all her baby teeth...😘
