We need to literally "count our blessings," give thanks for them, allow
ourselves to enjoy them and savor the experience of success we already have...

3:26 a.m. awakening...
...At 3:26 am, our doorbell rang...
...Now, that will raise you out of bed quickly...
...Our front door is solid wood, however Paul could see the flashing blue lights through the window...
....BUT, anyone can put blue lights on top of their car, so he went to our door w/ a window...
...flipped on the light and could see the Creek County Sherriff deputy...
...The deputy wanted to know if Brenda M....lived here...
...(I am sure Paul was deeply disturbed)
...Of course, you think about your kids...
....Anyway, he quickly ask Paul if we were missing a black hummer...
...Paul pushed the door open to check the carport and he said "I guess we are!"...
...We invited him inside to be told that Lincoln County had found it stuck in the mud
off a road by the Stroud Lake, which would be in Lincoln County...
...Lincoln County just happened to find it b/c they were looking for recent reported stolen vehicle from that area....So, we called AAA and met them over there while Lincoln County waited...
...it was backed in and hidden by tall grass...
...The county seemed to think they probably had plans to come back since they took the key...
...THE KEY...
...We checked and we had one set in the house...
...the set these THIEVES got were left in Paul's suburban, which he forgot to lock...
...That's the maddening issue,,,
THIEVES just rumble around looking for the perfect opportunity...
...We normally don't leave the key fob w/ keys in any of our vehicles...
...nothing was touched in the suburban b/c they probably saw the H3 fob immediately...
...These kind of creatures our mindless of fear...😡
...They shall be fearful if it happens again...
...We are thankful it was found quickly without too much damage...

...We have gone back n' forth trying to decide to replace it w/ a tree or just what to do...
...We can never replace THAT tree...
....We won't live long enough to see a tree of any size grow....
...We finally agreed on a fireplace...

...They are outside cats, but when it's cold, he puts them in our storage room, which we call
