I can honestly say that my daughters never missed acknowledging a Father's Day to their dad, nor their step dad...
...It's a day for honoring Fathers...either w/ a call, card, gift or celebration...
...When you have lost a Father, it becomes even more real how important it is to acknowledge a Dad's contribution and the Fatherhood of all fathers on this special day...

...The girls were 19 and 20 years old when they lost their dad...
...it will be 19 years this August...
...so they, both, have been w/out their dad as many years as they have been born...
...it saddens me that he missed seeing them grow into the ladies they have become w/ their careers...
...and, I am sorry he has missed the joy of having 3 beautiful g'daughters...
...Two things for sure, he would be proud and they loved their dad...
