...I must also say these two, the girls' g'parents, held us together when things got tough...
...we are forever grateful...

girl's step-dad...
...He is always up for a good time...

...plus, he has a huge understanding heart that shares a tremendous source of strength and support with lots of encouragement to my girls...
...Another dad to remember is, the Father of my girls....
...Oh, how he loved his girls...
...and would be so proud today...

...it will be 17 years in August...
...It saddens me that he missed seeing Ali follow in his footsteps as a principal...
...and knowing Linz is passionate about her field in dental hygiene...
...I am sorry he has missed the joy of having 3 beautiful, charming granddaughters...

...I can honestly say that my girls never missed acknowledging a Father's Day to their dad, nor their step dad...
...it's a day for honoring fathers....either w/ a call, card, gift or celebration...
...When you have lost a father, it becomes even more real how important it is to acknowledge a dad's contribution and the fatherhood of all fathers on Father's Day...

It's that time of year when we begin yearning for a trip to our 2nd home...
...seeing this morning sunrise from Windy Point on Ski Run Road makes me want to leave today...

...Father, we ask that you watch over us and protect us as we travel...
...I ask you, Father, to be w/ our bunny as she enjoys her time w/ her dad and his family...
...She says she misses her momma, as I am sure most young kids do when they are away...Father, just help her through this season of her young life...
...And, Father, as our lil' June bugs grow and develop into toddlers, help their parents to guide their little family....Thank you, Father....Amen!
