...This earthquake matched the largest in state history that rattled Oklahoma on Nov. 6, 2011...
...I was w/ Ali in Texas when the one in 2011 rumbled through, but I was home on the night of Nov. 8th, 2011, when we experienced a 4.8....
...Amazingly, no one was seriously injured but for those impacted by the quake w/ residential or business damage it's not a good thing...
...Unless the assistance plan has changed, there is none...we had severe damage to one of our buildings in Prague in 2011 and received no assistance as well as others who did not....
...We NOW have earthquake insurance on our home and all real estate buildings...it's not as expensive as one would think, so I would suggest checking into adding it to your insurance package...

...Again, Momma had a long, holiday week-end w/out the bunny, so she packed up and became a threesome w/ her OKC friends in Las Vegas....except for one evening, then there were four...

Sept. 6th....
...the twins first day in day care...

...I have been helping Ali for 3 months, so this was a bittersweet day for me...
...Of course for this first week, I planned being at their house when they got home to help w/ their transition from day care to home...No one can really understand how hard it is unless you have had the experience of having twins...

...First, I picked the bunny up from her day care...
...She had an extended week-end w/ her dad b/c of the holiday, so I would say that she was more than excited to see me and go home to Momma's...

...she loves them to pieces...BUT,
...she says they are her cousins, not family...just babies...
...not grasping the whole family group b/c they haven't always been around...

...As most people know, my brother is a very private person......I know he won't see this but if he hears about it, you will have to blame his wife b/c that's who gave me permission...if you know how sweet his wife is, you won't want her in trouble...

...when Patti told him that he would need to take his jeans off, he said they told him to put on the gown...
...hmmm...it took more than one time to tell him to remove his jeans...

...anyone knowing my sis, knows she is a "joke-ster"....

...thumbs up for a positive outcome as he is going back for a heart cath...
...he did have 2 stents put in and the balloon procedure done on an artery too small for a stent...
...feeling great now...and we are thankful...!!

...she wanted to stack her bracelets...but, she only got to choose two...

...this lil June bug was in SF er on Sunday morning...
...she did go to dc the next day but on the next day, I stayed w/ her...
...she doesn't look sick but has to be suctioned a lot...
...it was a great day to have her one on one...
...made me realize I need to do a one on one w/ each of our lil' bugs at least once a month...
...heck, why else did I retire...

...showing signs of fussiness and it turns out she has an ear infection after taking her to Pediatric Urgent Care the next evening b/c of her uncontrollable crying...

...she not only had an ear infection but had a viral infection too...
...this Nonni was an emotional mess along w/ Granny...
...Together, on Saturday, we were babysitting for about 3 hours and baby A's temp went up...
...So, what does one do...head to Urgent Care not knowing this time it would be so intense...
...oh, poor baby...
...I had to hold her down and watch them cath her...try to draw blood from both tiny arms to no avail...finally, I said "that's enough needles"....lastly, a chest x-ray...
...All I can say, it was not a good visit for this sweet lil' one...
...She is a happy girl now...both of them....
...now their momma is sick...
AND
...the bunny has not been feeling well...
...she is mostly bothered w/ allergies...no, it's not a cold...
...but, she only gets allergy meds 50% of the time...UGH!
...and realizing it will be two nights before she's w/ her momma again...
...Retirement makes me happy knowing I can stay w/ these precious grands w/out feeling the guilt of leaving my classroom...
