November 1st...

...the 'frost is on the pumpkin'...

This November thoughts and emotions swirl in my head like the leaves on the ground...then they seem to settle in my heart weighing me down...LIFE...Sometimes I wish things would slow down.....sometimes I wish they would hurry up...One thing I do know... I think too much about things that I have no control over....

Father, I pray that my heart finds rest somewhere in between those two places and I let go of things I have no control over...

 Route 66 'Steps for Success' 5k...

 ...Ran this 5K w/ Ali to help represent her school, Freedom Elementary, so  they could keep the golden running shoes for another year.....And, they WON by having the most participates running in the race.
 Makes me want to start running more!....maybe next year when it warms up!

Nov. 16th....

...Snowing a little earlier in the season than usual...although there was not much accumulation, it was  noticed by our little

 bunny princess...

"I DO"....

Yes...it was perfect or so one thought...sometimes one just doesn't know what's hidden in the closest.... Eventually, the day comes to know what is really going on...Then it becomes a nightmare...

...Destructive life choices belie a sick mind....

It is impossible to have a long-term, healthy relationship built on mutual trust and honesty because liars are narcissists....in a relationship with themselves destroying their closest relationships in the process...



Phillipians 2:3

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves."

...the bottom line is that one can either make decisions out of love for others or love for themselves...

Our world can be turned upside down in a moment...and life as we knew it is forever changed...

Broken hearts, broken marriages, broken dreams....these can break us....

Many more go through much more heartbreaking trials than we can ever imagine...there is no way around them and no easy way through them...life is full of trials...

But, there is one thing we can always count on...that we will be held secure...that the One who gave His very life for us, is always with us...

            and I am thankful..

With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
