...it's my birthday month...
...AND the season of new beginnings with the earth seeming to become alive:.... with fresh buds blooming, cattle calving, baby colts being born, temps slowly beginning to rise and the days getting longer....
...the last group of azaleas left planted by the Kelly family...most of our azaleas were damaged during the '07 ice storm...
...isn't this lil fella the cutest...enjoying our neighbor's cattle herd...
...this pic brings back special memories...taken on "the 80" that was my parent's horse farm before my dad passed away... enjoy driving by in the mornings on my way to school watching the horses graze...

...AND bunny...oh, how I love her...
..I have to laugh when I look at this pic..
...exploring literature...lol..
...My little bunny loves books...loves to be read to....Aunt Ali picked her up from daycare and they made a trip to the Jenks Library...just hoping her love of books continues forever....
...Aunt Ali reading to her at 8 days old...
...her mommy reading at 6 weeks...
When it comes to raising successful littles, it may come down to something as simple as words... 30,0000 is the magic number....and that is 30,000 words per day....So, if you have littles at home, talk to them....talk to them a lot...."Mommy is opening the refrigerator to get the milk."....."We are taking a bath to get ready for bedtime."...."We are driving to daycare so Mommy can go to work...We are turning left at the stoplight."...."Today is Sunday and we are going to church."....It may seem silly to gab incessantly but it will make a difference....and your third grader will thank you!

...our little bunny princess with the big bunny...love her sweet expression of uncertainty...Nonni almost cried looking at this pic....she looks more like a toddler than a baby..
.She hit another milestone today (April 4th)....she has been attempting crawling for a couple weeks but this morning she crawled across their living area....YIPPEE!
Now, the real adventures begin...
~~~
...the girls came to visit and this little bunny crawled to her poppi and he rocked her to sleep..
...he even sang to her....so sweet!
...morning nap on the clubroom sofa...
...on the go and prowl now that she can crawl...in the kitchen playing with measuring spoons and cup...
...Birthday dinner at Waterfront Grill...
In the hours of the early morn, the Porter peach farmers were fighting to save their orchards from freezing temps by using helicopters. After sun-up, thankfully, no significant damage was found to their peach trees.
Always enjoy having family for special occasion celebrations. Only this time I went a little informal...didn't set the table as I would have liked....just ran out of energy....remember, I just celebrated a birthday ...plus, I've spent a lot of time helping with our little bunny...oh, yes, and state testing has been on my mind a lot.....and...anyway we ate and enjoyed our family fellowship....
The Easter bunny didn't come during the wee hours of the morning on our 5 acre woods but, instead, quietly left our little princess bunny's basket while we were enjoying our Easter lunch.
All in all, life is wonderful and I am truly blessed!
