...endless winter?!?....

Even though, I love the snow and everything about the season of winter, this year I can hardly wait until the arrival of spring.  Winter and snow is all about skiing and again we haven't had the chance to plan a ski trip,  so I'm ready to move on to the season of spring....

March 2nd...WINTER returns...

By looking at the channel 2 weather map, WINTER is definitely still in the air...

...Caci and Kale's wedding shower at the McMillan's ranch...

...come rain, sleet or snow...we had snow,  sleet and a "shower"...

Made it home from the shower on a snow/sleet packed country road.  Received a call from Lin-z saying Tulsa area schools  were closing and her daycare would be closed....Quickly packed an overnight bag to make a stressful drive to Tulsa.  Our state highway was packed and icy and  I-44 had one lane that was scraped but not clear.  Creek Turnpike looked like the state highway...

...the great thing.....I made it w/out any problem....proud of my driving however having a 4x4 makes it better...Got very lucky and received a call while on my way to say that Bristow Schools would be closed also...Even though I realize it's not possible, wishing when they discourage travel, not just schools, but, everyone would close down.
  

 Dear Father, please be with all those out in wintry weather, whether they are driving the streets or walking the streets.  I pray for their safety and protection.  This, also, Father, reminds me that life itself is a challenging journey with no clear vision of what is over the hill or around the corner in front of us.  We all need help and courage to get around these obstacles in life.  This can only be fulfilled by your protection and grace...We thank you...Amen!

...my sweet friend, Dana, and her beautiful daughter, Sarah...

...If you've been a reader of my blog for long, you will know that when our bunny princess was born I became a 'Nonni'.....after moving from our hometown, Dana and her family ended up in southeastern OK...after the bunny was born, Dana called one day and said she had a surprise she had found at a garage sale...What a surprise....a 'Nonni' Biscotti jar...I probably could have shopped forever looking for something w/ that name inscribed on it and she found it at a garage sale....love it!
