...It's difficult to see them leave after having our princess bunny and her mommy home for an overnight slumber...I am THANKful for this special  time with my girls...

November 22nd.....50 years ago...

 

Do you remember where you were?....I was sitting, as a 5th grader,  in my library class at Edison Elementary, Bristow, OK.  The intercom system came on  and announced that President John F. Kennedy had died.

 ...being welcomed after arriving in Dallas, Texas..

...an image I will always remember...a little boy at his mother's grieving side saluting the passing casket....he notices but does he understand....

I was THANKful to spend Thanksgiving Day at the Bar M Ranch with my Matthews family, my girls and my husband....I love my family, and I am incredibly THANKful for all of them.

 

 

 

 ...this baby turkey was the center of attention...no wonder....it's been 16 years since we've had a baby in the family...

November 30th....

 

My 3 girls came back for another slumber night....I know, I know....we cut the time 10 days short...BUT, her first bite of cereal is now checked off as another milestone.

 She was sure not to let us down....she loved her oatmeal...she couldn't get enough of it.  She smacked her lips and squealed between each bite...and wanted more!







 

So, all of a sudden our princess bunny is big enough to eat cereal....these last months have gone way too fast!

 ...A perfect little blessing that warms our hearts...
