Thinking of my younger brother today.....It would have been his 52nd birthday. He's been gone since Thanksgiving 2010.....remembering that sad day. Most of you knew him.....always happy with a handsome smile and beautiful blue eyes.

He had two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter...

..His daughter's FB post today said to look to the heavens and give her dad a big shout out for his birthday.....

Bi-plane update...

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for Paul. He sold his 1941 Stearman.....

I'll have to admit my heart hurt for the hubs just a "wee" bit......

A daughter is a gift of love....

I have two sweet, beautiful girls and I can't tell you enough how important and special the role of mom has been in my life. I still look at them and am in awe of their presence. They have brought me much joy!

Valley of the Sun...Phoenix...

I am typically a planner....not a last minute person! So, when Paul messaged me to say he had made reservations for the Pizza Hut Spring Meeting, I immediately went into my panic mode realizing I had only one week end to get my gear in order! I honestly almost cried "I can't go"!.....BUT, as quickly as I panicked, I came to my senses realizing we needed this trip to spend some quality time with each other and friends in the PH circle.
